Weighing mere 0.94 g, this is the lightest gold ring in our collection. With its extremely delicate band and the amount of craftsmanship that goes into hand-setting the miniature garnets, this is truly a marvelous example of goldsmithing skill.
The combination of a large central stone surrounded by a halo of smaller garnets is traditional in the Czech jewellery industry. This particular design is a more modern variation on the tradition, using an atypical checker cut cabashon garnet for a central stone. The size and the cut of the stone are particularly flattering for garnet, bringing out its deep red color. Average weight 4.53 g
An original ring with three round garnets embraced by golden waves. Average weight 2.47 g.
This design is a bit of a maverick. Our team has of yet been unable to agree what it reminds us of. Some have said that the two golden circlets look like a growing moon crescent. Viewed from the side, the ring looks like an open oyster holding a dark gem - or maybe a jewellery box holding a treasure? It is a mystery. Either way, we do wholeheartedly recommend this ring: it is fascinating. Average weight 1.80g
